“The Senate will vote on the Equal Rights Modification this week — 100 years after it was first launched in Congress — Senate Majority Chief Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) stated Monday,” the Washington Post studies.
“The proposed modification to the U.S. Structure would assure equal rights underneath the legislation no matter intercourse — which means the Structure would clearly state that ladies have equal rights as males. Whereas the modification was launched in Congress in 1923 by leaders of the suffrage motion, it solely handed in March 1972.”
